Latest 1P update and Chrome problems

1P looks totally different after updating to 1P 1.0.9.326 and no longer works. The icon disappeared and the 1P extension vanished. I reinstalled the 1P extension from the chrome store. When I click on the icon, a popup window opens that looks like the one in the chrome store https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/one-password/pahmlghhaoabdlhnkmmjbkcmdamjccjj

Entering my master password on the masterkey line does nothing. All I can get it to do is generate new passwords.
Updating to the latest Chrome did nothing.

Please un-install this extension because it is NOT ours.

Then please download our extension here: https://agilebits.com/extensions/win/index.html

Thanks Stefan, when Chrome said I couldn't install it from your website, I didn't know they were lying.
    All is good now.

I have a similar problem and am installing from your site. Initial installation last week worked fine. Then, yesterday, when I logged in to a site, 1P reported that I needed to reinstall the extension in Chrome because the data file had been recreated. Don't know why, but in any case I obediently removed the extension as requested and the tried to reinstall. This failed. Chromes says extensions, apps and scripts are not allowed to be installed in this way.

    Google explains why here: https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2664769?p=crx_warning&rd=1&hl=en&uls=en

Please guide me to a solution here.

This is exactly what I did. When that page loads, I get a warning at the bottom of the Chrome Windows that extensions, programs and themes can be harmful, asking that I confirm. After clicking continue, I get "Apps, extensions and user scripts can't be added from this website" and the "Read more" link goes to the page I posted above: https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2664769?p=crx_warning&rd=1&hl=en&uls=en.

This is explained at the top of the page Stefan has already linked to a couple times:

Google recently began requiring extensions in Chrome to be installed through the Chrome Web Store. We're working on making the 1Password extension available on the Chrome Web Store, but until then you can still easily install the 1Password extension in this manner.

You need to drag the 1Password.crx file from Windows Explorer (not the download bar) to Chrome's extension list (not a blank window or the address bar). Please follow the steps carefully:

    https://agilebits.com/extensions/win/chrome.html

The steps are listed (with screenshots) showing how to drag and drop the file. Please let me know if you don't know how to view your downloads folder in Windows Explorer or if the 1Password.crx file is not showing up in your downloads folder. Please also let me know if you are having trouble viewing the list of extensions installed in your installation of Chrome.

We'd be happy to try to help further.
