Chrome extension stopped asking for master password

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

For some reason, the Google Chrome extension has stopped asking me for the master password. I've searched around for a setting for this but can't find one. Any ideas why it no longer needs a password?
OS X 10.8.3
1Password Version 3.8.20 (build 31499)

    It is not possible to access the data without entering the master password. It just must still be unlocked from the last time you entered it. The extension locks in accordance with your auto-lock settings. If it is not meeting your expectations, you might consider adjusting your auto-lock settings:
