WordPress issue: creating a new user saves "URL" as "username"

Options

When creating new accounts in the latest version of WordPress (3.5.1), 1Password (Safari/Mac/10.8.3) is saving the data entered in the account's URL field as the Username. The account/username is saved under "user_login", which isn't entered when invoking "command-/" on login.

As an administrator of multiple WordPress sites, this is adding a lot of unnecessary busy-work.

    Hi @cbmackay,

That is likely because the registration form itself is telling 1Password which is the username and in your case, it's the URL of the wordpress site. This isn't something that can be fixed by us, the form itself has to give 1Password the right data. We're working on a way to help developers do this with documentations.

We recommend that you save logins on the Login forms rather on the registration forms.

If you are doing it on the Login forms, can you give me an URL to test it and we'll test it.

    Thanks!
