Ever since we upgraded this 1password to 7.0 versions, 1password fails to open the window or to fill in passwords. It does work on another computer though. In order to use it the operator has to cut and paste everything

1Password Version: 7.9.3

  • Hello @bill_raynor! 👋

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble using 1Password to open websites in Safari. It sounds like the connection between 1Password and Safari isn't working correctly. Can you first make sure that the built-in 1Password extension for Safari is enabled:

    1. Open Safari.
    2. Click on Safari next to the  in the menu bar.
    3. Click on Preferences.
    4. Click on Extensions.
    5. Make sure that "1Password" is checked.

Then I'd like you to try the following:

    1. Close all open web browsers.
    2. Right-click on the 1Password icon at the top of your Mac's screen and then click Quit 1Password Completely. Wait until the icon disappears.
    3. Double-click on 1Password 7 from your Mac's Application folder.
    4. Open your web browser.

Let me know if that fixes the issue. I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂
