How To: Save a Login item for a multi-page login process

Some of my logins are 2 pages, 1st page is a dual username and the 2nd page is the password with a picture. On page 1 I have Customer ID and User ID. On page 2 I have password. So in 1Pass I add additional fields named Customer ID and User ID, I link them to Username and password, but I get the username submitted in both fields. How do I fix this?

You are very close! Try saving a new Login item on the first page then add the password as a new field like this:
- Visit the site's login page.
- Enter your credentials, but DO NOT submit the form.
- Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.
- Enter your password into the item details.
- Change the title and make any notes (if desired).
- Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.
If you're still having trouble, could you please let me know the URL so we can take a look? The above technique works for all the sites I visit with multi-page login processes, but it may not work everywhere. You may need to save separate Login items for each page in the login process.
