Popup to save login after using Safari to enter my 2FA
Why does 1Password 7 pop up a window asking me to create new or update existing after Safari auto-fills my 2FA from a text message?
It's been doing this for quite a while, maybe since I started using 2FA for my important logins. I've always clicked Not Now, but once I decided to see what would happen...I clicked update existing. That was a bad decision...1Password replaced my password for that site with the six character 2FA code!
I would much rather that 1Password realize that my credentials for the site did not change, and not pop up the save window.
Any advice on how to change this behavior?
1Password Version: 7.9.4
Extension Version: from 7.9.4?
OS Version: Mac OS 12.3.1

I was hoping someone from Agile Bits had an answer to this...maybe this will be seen when this post bumps it back to the top.

Hey @DeltaSeven, what site have you seen this behavior with? I'll take a look at the site to test things out.

Thanks! It's been a few weeks since I asked the question, and I've since figured out that it may just be one site. It's my bank site, pnc.com. Here is the log in for personal banking: [https://onlinebanking.pnc.com/alservlet/OnlineBankingServlet]
I don't think you'll be able to see the behavior since it happens after I log in. After entering my user name and password the 2FA window comes up. When I get the text message I have Safari auto-fill it for me and that's when 1Password 7 pops up the window asking me if I want to update an existing entry or create a new one.
So it must be something about the way that page is coded?
