I accidentally updated the password of an item and need to go back to the previous one. I sware there used to be a password history but can't find it anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

I am grateful to @madflute for revealing the answer. It took me about half an hour to find this answer, because I first looked in 1Password help, within the app, then posted to Twitter, then searched on the 1Password website, and then came to the forum, and went through a few variations in the wording for finding old passwords, until I finally found this message thread. Since the forum lists 134 pages of hits for 'Previous Passwords', it seems clear that this is a common problem. Is there a way to make this answer show up in Help within the app? And in a search on the 1Password website? Useful help links could save a lot of people a lot of time. There are half a dozen variations that people might search on, such as 'old password', password history, password archive (which is something else, but a user may not know that), deleted password, find older passwords, and so on. I notice that Help in the app can't even find the term that the app menu contains, 'Password History' (nor 'View Password History'). I have been doing my searches on a Mac, and I have version 7.9.5 installed.
I hope that the 1Password team can make it easier to find this essential function. Thanks.

Oh man, this was driving me nuts! Thank you for helping me find it.
Feedback to the 1Password folks: this is not discoverable, and I also wish the password field in the modal responded to option key presses.

I'll second that this is not very discoverable, in fact the online help doesn't tell you that it exists, It says you need to login via the web to see the password history: https://support.1password.com/item-history/
I'd update that page to show where to find it in the app.0 -
There's a lot of functionality hidden behind arrows and hard to find menus. On Windows, 2/3 of the pane used to display a login is blank, plenty of room for buttons. Same on iOS, let us see actions by scrolling down rather than fishing for long press menus. It's not the first time I have to turn to the forum to find something that should be easy to find.
