Fix for Cmd-\ not working in the Classic extension for Chrome
I recently had a problem where Cmd-\ stopped working in my Chrome (using the Classic extension). I found a helpful comment (from a 1P'er) on Reddit, and I just wanted to share it here. This fix worked for me, and I'm back to being a happy user of the Classic extension (though really not looking forward to the user interface changes in the "modern" version).

Hey there. Sorry for the trouble – this is an issue we're aware of. But we also have some steps that should fix it:
- If 1Password is running, right-click the 1Password icon at the top right of your macOS menu bar, and choose Quit 1Password Completely.
- Open Finder and go to: ~/Library/Containers/com.agilebits.onepassword7/Data/Library
- Locate Preferences and move it to Trash.
- Go to: ~/Library/Group Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits/Library
- Locate Preferences and move it to Trash.
- Open Terminal and run the following command: killall cfprefsd
- Open and unlock 1Password, and confirm that your default keyboard shortcuts are in place.
1Password Version: 7.9.4
Extension Version: 4.7.5.90
OS Version: macOS 12.2.1

OK, I was wrong. This helped very temporarily, but now Cmd-\ is not working again. This is extremely disruptive to my workflow. I've already tried quitting both 1Password and Chrome, and reinstalling the extension. Does anyone have any other ideas?

And now it's working again. I don't know what's going on here.

Thanks, Jack. I still see it stop working occasionally. The only clue I have is that when it doesn't work, I can see the "Edit" menu in my menu bar flash as if I've pressed a keyboard shortcut for an item in that menu. However, nothing in the menu has Cmd-\ listed as a keyboard shortcut, so I'm pretty baffled about it.
