Help! Can't get out of BETA channel
I did not enroll myself to the beta channel but I'm getting BETA updates nonetheless. In Preferences > Advanced release channel is set to "Production". In Preferences > About I'm getting "80800094, on BETA channel".
I really don't want BETA software handling my passwords :( How do I fix this?

Have you ever took part in the beta? Try the following.
Let's set aside the current installation and reinstall. Here's what you would need to do.
Change your settings to production channel (if needed) to avoid any potential auto update. 1Password > Preferences > Advanced. If you can't do that at this time, please do so immediately after reinstalling 1Password. This seems to be set properly. Please double check.
- Make sure you have your Emergency Kit and know your account password.
- Quit 1Password and all browser for good measure. Right-click 1Password in the menu bar (If it's there) and click Quit.
Open Finder, and click the Go menu > Go to Folder...
In the box that appears, copy and paste the following exactly:~/Library/Group Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.1password/Library/Application Support/1Password/
Press Return.
You'll see a folder called
Data
– right-click on the folder and select Compress "Data".- Delete the original folder named
Data
- Locate the folder named
Updates
and delete it. It will be recreated as needed.
- Do not make changes to any other folders in that location.
- Download a fresh copy of 1Password from here. Download 1Password 8
- Wait a few moments and then open the 1Password 8 installer. You'll be taken through the getting started process.
