Autofill via keyboard shortcut includes disabled vaults
I’ve created and selected a Vault Collection in the main app and I’ve also gone into the browser extensions’ settings and disabled vaults I don’t want suggestions from (kids accounts, shared dev accounts for work, etc.).
When I go to a site and hit ⌘\ the list includes every login for the site, including those from vaults I’ve disabled. In most cases, there should only be one (enabled) option, in which case it should just fill the form without asking me anything.
- Why are there toggle switches for each vault in the extension settings if it doesn’t prevent suggestions from those vaults? Bug?
- Why do I have to manage the list of enabled/disabled vaults in every browser individually? Why can’t I just select the Vault Collection I created?
(I greatly prefer the 1Password 7 system where you define what “All Vaults” means in the preferences and it applies globally.)
For additional background, I turn off “offer to fill” and “autofill menu” (also in every browser individually) because I don’t like the visual clutter and I’m comfortable using keyboard shortcuts.
Thanks.

Of course as soon as I post this, I realize you can select a Vault Collection from the ⌘\ popup, which is exactly what I want. At least this post might answer the question for others.
I’m still wondering what the purpose of toggling a vault in the extension settings is, though.
