Just switched from 1Password7 to 1P8 v8.7.1, Ext v 2.3.3,on MacOS 10.15.7. Opening 1Pass in the menu bar was handy. I have one program (MoneyWell) that did not work using Command +\, and opening to Favorites to copy the password for this Mac application was only a few steps, now several.. While there is always frustration in going to the latestest/ greatest, I find this new feature requires more keystrokes to get to my task. Is there another way to get to Favorites? Or is there another way to fill in a password on a MacOS application? (Yes, I did search the Community for a solution).

  • Hey @ictflyguy :

One way to fill would be to use Universal Autofill and invoke Quick Access with the keyboard shortcut, command - shift - spacebar.

If Universal Autofill does not work well with the MoneyWell app (please let me know if it doesn't), from the Quick Access menu, you can copy the username/password/one-time password fields and paste it. The keyboard shortcuts to copy the fields in Quick Access are:

    • Copy username: command - c
    • Copy password: command - shift - c
    • Copy one-time password: option - command - c
