Upgrade question 1PW3 to family license then 1PW4

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

Hi, sorry to be a bit cheapskate about this, but there is currently a 50% sale on. If I upgrade my 1PW3 licence (from 2010 I think) to a family license at 50% off, would this entitle me to a free upgrade to a family 1PW4 when it is released? I would prefer to get it from the MAS but beggars can't be choosers!

    If you purchase an upgrade (of license) from the AgileBits store yes you can indeed get the update to 1Password 4

    Of course you can also purchase directly from the Mac App Store and also get the update to 1Password 4 when it arrives.

    The choice is yours.

    I just looked at the upgrade option in the Agilebits store and for a Mac single license upgrade to family 5 pack its $ 24.49
    Also the current price for 1Password on the Mac App Store is $24.99 (can be installed on all Macs you personally use)

    So really the only difference is 0.50¢
