1Password Chrome Extension Not Filling in Passwords

My chrome extension is not filling in passwords on webpages in Chrome. The extension is recognizing I'm on the website but it's not auto-filling, thus I need to go to the chrom extension and copy and paste the password into the password section of the website.

So far I've tried
-re-installing the extension
-taking 1password off as my default password manager and then turning it back on
-clearing cookies
-deleting 1 password windows app

Nothing seems to work.

  • Hi @Scoguson,

I'm sorry to hear 1Password isn't filling as expected.

Are you running into trouble filling on a specific website or all websites? If it is a specific website, are you able to share it so I can take a closer look?

    Let me know!

Josh- thanks for getting back to me. It works on some but not others. One website where I know it doesn't work is chase.com

  • Hi @Scoguson,

I did some testing on chase.com and was able to autofill properly.

    Try these steps:

    1. Go to the chase.com login page.
    2. Type in your login information manually - don't click login.
    3. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
    4. Select 'Save Login' and save it as a New Item.
    5. Refresh the webpage.
    6. Click on the Username field and select the new login you just created.

If you are able to autofill successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old login item in 1Password.

Let me know if this works.

    Josh
