Drag and Drop to Login Dialog
How do I drag and drop the username and password to a login dialog? I do not wish to copy and paste for security reasons. I used to do this in 1PW7 by pinning the mini.
1Password Version: 8.7.3
Extension Version: 2.3.6

Thanks Ben
⌘\ doesn't work.
So my workflow seems to be
1) Find the item in favorites and click on the URL
2) ⌘-tab to return to the item in 1P
3) ⌘-o to re-open in new window
4) Click on 1P main window
5) ⌘-m to minimize main window
6) Drag User Name and PasswordAny suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear we still haven't hit it out of the park here.
⌘\ doesn't work.
To confirm: in 1Password > Settings > General is the Autofill shortcut set to ⌘\ (the default)? Does it not work at all with any app/websites, or just not with this specific one?
So my workflow seems to be
1) Find the item in favorites and click on the URL
2) ⌘-tab to return to the item in 1P
3) ⌘-o to re-open in new window
4) Click on 1P main window
5) ⌘-m to minimize main window
6) Drag User Name and PasswordAny suggestions?
That sounds a lot longer than
Press ⇧ ⌘ Space to open Quick Access.
Search for an item.
Press ⌘O to open the item in a new window.Have you tried those steps?

Hi Ben,
Thanks for clarifying.
My autofill shortcut is ⌘4, and it has never filled these login dialogs.
I prefer finding the item in favorites, instead of searching for it.
However your suggestion has shown me how to shorten the process:
1) Find item in favorites and click on it
2) ⌘O to re-open in new window
3) Click on URL
4) Drag User Name and PasswordThis works for all of my login dialogs except this one: https://my-account.indigodomo.net. For this one I have to: 3) Click on website drop-down and select “Open” rather than simply clicking on the URL. This is a change from 1P7.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Carroll
