Hello,

I accidently chose "Don't ask again." when archiving a password. I can't find how to turn it back on. There doesn't seem to be a preference in the Preference box options.

    Hello @staypufd! 👋

The preferences for the 1Password 8 for Mac app are stored in a JSON file and you can modify the JSON file in order to reset the "Don't ask again" option for the "Archive this item?" pop-up. Follow these steps:

    1. Open Finder, and click the Go menu > Go to Folder...
    2. In the box that appears, copy and paste the following exactly:

    ~/Library/Group Containers/2BUA8C4S2C.com.1password/Library/Application Support/1Password/Data/settings

    1. Right-click on "settings.json" and click Open With > TextEdit
    2. Find the "app.SkipArchiveAlert" entry in the list and change "true" to "false"
    3. In TextEdit click File > Save. Then close TextEdit.

The next time that you try to archive an item the pop-up will appear. Please let me know if you run into any issues. 🙂
