How can I disable certain sites from showing 1Password prompts
I need to disable 1password from prompting to fill or telling me there are no items to show (and blocking the rest of the form), on certain sites.
I can't see anywhere to configure the list of sites.
I asked this question back on 1Password 7 over here: https://1password.community/discussion/124212/disabled-domains-still-showing-up-with-1password-prompts
The solution back then was to use the Classic browser extension as that allowed you to configure the sites that 1Password doesn't show up on.
That extension doesn't work with 1Password8, and I have upgraded....
I don't see an option to disable 1password on certain sites. Can you please let me know how to do it. Thanks.
1Password Version: 8.8.0
Extension Version: 2.3.7
OS Version: macOS 12.3.1
Browser:_ Chrome

For the question you posed, right click on the icon and select the hide on this page option. This should remain until the browser is restarted or the device.

Thaks but I need a permanent solution. I don't want to have to do that each time. There used to be a blacklist.

Hey @steveswinsburg! While there was a feature like that in 1Password 7, there is no such feature in 1Password 8. The good news is that we do have a feature request open for it. I'll add your ticket here to the request. Hopefully it is something our developers will consider in the future.
In the meantime, I recommend doing the following in order to keep 1Password's inline menu from view:
- Press ESC on your keyboard.
- Click on a blank area in the page to remove focus from the field.
- Click the little 1Password icon on the right side of the field to toggle it off.
You can also temporarily hide 1Password on a site per the steps shared earlier. I know it's not ideal, but hopefully it can help until there is a better solution.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
