1password steals focus on unlock & doesn't return it
Hi,
I've been using 1p8 for a month or so, and the way it handles unlocks is very annoying compared to 1p7. Every time I need to unlock it, the focus gets lost from the current app and after unlock it is not restored properly, so I have to cmd-tab or click around to get back to the original field. It has been like this through all of the 1p and Mac versions since the release, and it is the same across all apps...

Please email us using
support+forum@1password.com. Be sure to use the email address tied to the account in question. That will allow a member of the extensions team to look into this in more detail and gather any logs as necessary. You issue sounds like one the team is tracking. But they would be the best ones to judge that. I could be a different matter too. 1P_Tommy hey! so a couple days later and the focus is not working properly again. I haven't restarted my laptop since then and I do not think it is a normal behavior for 1p to stop working properly on it is own... btw. I am on beta channel now due to some SSH compatibility issues in release version.
can I provide more information so someone could get to the bottom of this?

1P_Tommy hi! thanks for the suggestion. Although I was not referring to wrong suggestion as the problem, after loosely following your recommendations (e.g. you can't disable 1p plugin in the browser from the icon, I had to go into extension settings), it seems to be working as expected in terms of focus. After unlock and copying of the password, it does go back to the last used app and field.
I did encounter the "wrong" suggestion bug that you may be referring to. As I was testing, it didn't recognize a website I was on, although manually searching for the proper login and pressing Enter correctly filled it in automatically.
