Using the browser extension on Namecheap doesn't work

For some reason, using the browser extension to automatically fill in the form on namecheap.com misbehaves and doesn't work. It fills the form in, and hits submit, but the website takes me through to the main index page, as opposed to actually logging me in.

(Note: NameCheap is a free website, so you can sign up for free. Hopefully this will help diagnose the issue!)

I understand this would be a problem with how NameCheap have coded their website, but if there was a way to get 1Password to work with it, that would be better (and to be honest, things are more likely to be fixed in the 1Password extensions, than on their website)

I have uploaded a video to explain my issue:

I have 'recreated' my login to see if this fixes the login, however the problem is still present after re-adding the login to 1Password.

Hope this makes sense, if people find it does work for them, please let me know, it could just be me!

I'm sorry that you are having some trouble, @OverByDan. My Namecheap Login has been working well for many years and continues to work well. I'm sure we can get things working as well for you as they are for me. :)

You mentioned that you 'recreated' your Login, but I just tried manually saving one via the extension (as we always recommend), and it works just as well as the one I had been using. Just to be sure we're on the same page, please try saving a new Login manually like this:

    1. Visit the site's login page: https://www.namecheap.com
    2. Enter your credentials, but DO NOT submit the form.
    3. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.
    4. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).
    5. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.

Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login at:

    https://www.namecheap.com

Manually saving a new Login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Saving a new Login item allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. :)

If you are still having trouble, try the above steps on the separate login page:

    https://www.namecheap.com/myaccount/login-only.aspx

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks!
