Mac Passwords Interfering

I am on Big Sur and Monterrey. The Mac keeps popping up in front of 1Password (obstructing the ability to use 1Password) when a password field is entered. Is there a way to just turn off the Mac Auto-Fill function?

1Password Version: 8.9.4
Extension Version: 2.3.8
OS Version: 12.6
Browser:_ Safari

  • Hello @choreo! 👋

If you're seeing this in Safari then you can disable the built-in password manager so that it doesn't conflict with 1Password:

    1. Open Safari.
    2. Click on Safari next to the  in the menu bar.
    3. Click on Preferences.
    4. Click the AutoFill icon.
    5. Turn off all the AutoFill web forms settings:
    6. "Using info from my contacts"
    7. "User names and passwords"
    8. "Credit cards"
    9. "Other forms"

If you're using a different browser then please let me know. 🙂
