I prefer the old categories... How do I get them back. Now everything is intertwined.

The new user interface no longer has categories for login, secure notes, etc. Just one big pile of information and is not easy to find something like a secure note.

Hi @swoodard9

You can find your Categories by clicking the drop-down menu below Search, as shown here:

If you'd prefer, you can also have them shown in the sidebar. Here's what to do:

1. Open and unlock 1Password.
2. Click the 1Password menu (next to the  Apple menu) > Preferences...
3. On the Appearance tab, turn on Categories, as shown here:

Then, you'll see the Categories in the sidebar:

If Categories are already turned on in the sidebar, but you can't see them, check that the list isn't collapsed. If you see "⟩ Categories" , then click the ⟩ chevron to expand the list.
