Browser Integration Vivaldi + NixOS

I got the browser integration working on NixOS with Vivaldi by following the primary NixOS instructions/settings, and then also adding vivaldi-bin to the file at /etc/1password/custom_allowed_browsers as detailed here https://1password.community/discussion/126941/allowing-local-app-integration-from-vivaldi

What I don't know, is if there's an official "NixOS" way to do that? I don't think creating directories and files in /etc is the right way to do it for NixOS.

Any thoughts?

Hey @jbhardman, thanks for reaching out. I'm glad to hear you were able to get the Vivaldi browser integration working on NixOS.

We don't offer an official NixOS way to accomplish this. To provide further context, Vivaldi integration is not officially supported and the provided steps are available as a workaround.

With that said, we do have an internal request to add official support for Vivaldi on Linux, let me know if you'd like me to add your vote to that request.

    Ali
