How to change Quick Access shortcut on macOS?
I have removed the shortcut (via the ⓧ button) and recorded a different one, but 1P8 ignored my setting. Worse, now I cannot get any shortcut to work, even the old one (shift-cmd-space).
How do I fix that?

Hi @Kentzo,
Sorry to hear keyboard shortcuts aren't behaving as expected. Do you see better results trying a "CMD + any letter" shortcut? Could you also tell me if you're using a non-US keyboard?
Let me know and we'll go from there. 🙂

I did a reboot since and the shortcuts seem to work now.

Okay, the Quick Access shortcut just stopped working again. Not sure what caused that.

I think I figured out what triggers this behavior (for me):
- In 1P's settings disable the menubar item
- Restart 1P
- The shortcut doesn't work anymore
- Enable menubar item
- The shortcut starts working
- Disable the menubar item
- (Without restarting) The shortcut still works
- Restart 1P
- The shortcut doesn't work anymore
- Rinse and repeat

Hi @Kentzo,
Thanks for the update and doing that additional testing. I suspect this is related to how 1Password does (or doesn't) run in the background without the menu bar icon. I can't make any promises but we are tracking feedback to improve this in the future and I've added your voice.
In the meantime, I recommend keeping 1Password in the menu bar to ensure the most consistent experience. Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂
