Notes field inconsistent markdown formatting between Mac, iOS and web

About 10 months ago I posted about inconsistent markdown formatting in the Notes field for 1Password items:

That discussion has been closed now but I was wondering if any progress has been made on that issue? Nothing appears to have changed.

To recap:

  • Markdown formatted inline code (surrounded by single back-ticks) doesn't render on the macOS version of 1Password, but does on iOS and the web
  • Fenced code blocks (surrounded by three back-ticks) do render, but display in a different serif monospaced font (Courier?) on macOS vs the san-serif font used on iOS and the web.
