Items showing up in Recently Deleted that have not been deleted

Just started using the Mac desktop version of 1password. I took this time to delete certain passwords that I no longer used. This morning I decided to archive them instead. I looked in Recently Deleted and there are passwords that I deleted and passwords that I did not delete. The passwords I deleted are not in my personal vault as I would expect. The passwords I did not delete but showing in Recently Deleted are still showing in my personal vault. Why are these in Recently Deleted? I certainly don't want them to be deleted after 30 days.

  • Hi there @kofther

The most likely cause for this is that you might have Moved an item from one vault to another. When an item is Moved, it's Copied to the destination vault and then Deleted from the origin vault.

I can see you've emailed us recently too. If my potential explanation above doesn't sound like what's happened, please let the team member know when you reply to their message. I'll close this thread to avoid any duplicate answers. :)
