If I use universal autofill, how do I generate a password for a new login?
In an older version, I could invoke 1password with the usual command and if I didn't have a login for a website, I could generate the password there. Now, using Universal Autofill (which is otherwise great), I have to open the app, type in the url of the site, generate a password in the app, and then copy it over. This seems like it can't possibly be the intended workflow.

Universal Autofill indeed allows you to fill logins but it doesn't (currently) allow you to generate new passwords for a website. I recommend that you use 1Password in the browser, which will suggest passwords right on the page: Get to know 1Password in your browser
