Bug report: clumsy UX when cancelling unlock

I hope this is the right place to report this.

If you have TouchID enabled:
1. Lock 1Password if not already
2. Open Quick access (either by menu or shortkey)
3. TouchID popup shows
4. Cancel (either by clicking the button or pressing Escape)
5. 1Password window shows either way, and a new TouchID popup shows

Since now the focus is on the 1Password window, Escape does not work to cancel the TouchID popup. You can use ⌘-W to close the 1Password window, but the TouchID popup needs to be clicked to close. Also, if I cancelled the TouchID in the first place, it is nicer if the 1Password window did not show at all.

  • Hello @chrisbrandhorst! 👋

I also hope that we can make this more elegant in the future. There's an internal issue open for this with our development team and I've added your comments there so that the team is aware. Thank you for the feedback.
