Password accepted on browser but not desktop program
Just moved over to 1password but getting very frustrated on day 2.
I can login on the browser fine but when I try and login to either the desktop app or the chrome extension it won't accept the password (that is accepted online). (Yes have checked for typos).
Any ideas?

Thanks for your message. If both the 1Password 8 app and extension are installed, the extension calls to the app for the sign in. Let's focus our attention there.
Since you mentioned you can sign in to 1Password in your browser at 1Password.com (or .ca/.eu), could try the list of steps below and let us know if this helps?
1. Sign in to your account on 1Password.com in your browser.
2. Click your name in the top right, select Get the Apps, and then click the blue button under step two that says "Already have the app? Add your account directly." Allow this link to open 1Password for Windows.
3. That will fill all of your sign-in credentials in 1Password 8, except your account password.
4. Enter your account password, click Sign In.If this didn't help, and you can confirm all of your data is present and accounted for on 1Password when you sign into the webpage, you can try resetting 1Password 8 for Windows and try signing into the app again:
