Using Face ID for 1Password

I use Face ID to log into 1Password & access my logins on my iPhone & iPad, but my wife has to enter the master password to get into 1Password on her iPhone & iPad, then manually enter the username and password to login to any website on 1Password. Is there a way for her to use her Face ID for 1Password on her iDevices?

    Hello @az4beach! 👋

    If your wife can use Face ID to unlock her iPhone and iPad then she can also enable Face ID for 1Password by using this guide: Use Face ID to unlock 1Password on your iPhone or iPad Pro

    Once Face ID is enabled I also recommend that she enable Password AutoFill on both her iPhone and iPad so that 1Password can fill her usernames/passwords for her:

    1. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
    2. Tap Passwords > Password Options.
    3. Turn on AutoFill Passwords.
    4. Select 1Password.

    Then have her try to fill a login again using this guide: Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad
