my installer has been waiting for data to be moved for 2 days, and I'm afraid to close the app.

Been using 1password for over a decade, love love love it. have the families account.

I'm trying to install 1password8 on my x86 work machine. I downloaded the installer, started it up, and it asked me if i wanted to move my data to work with 1password8. I said yes, and now the app has been hanging for 24 hours with the message "Waiting for data to be moved. Don't quit this app."

So now I'm terrified that I'm about to lose all of my passwords and info in my 1password.

I'm sorry that the 1Password 8 installer is stuck. If you previously had 1Password 7 installed on your Mac then please try these steps (don't worry, your data is safe):

1. Quit the 1Password 8 installer.
2. Open and unlock 1Password 7.
3. Confirm that you can see your items.
4. Leave 1Password 7's main window open.
5. Run the 1Password 8 installer again while 1Password 7 is open.

If that doesn't work then please let me know and I can help further. 🙂
