How to get an alphabetical listing of items?

Please bring back some v7 characteristics. in v8, when I type something into the search box, it does not automatically show all the entries. I actually have to click on it first. This was not the case in v7. I cannot get an alphabetical listing of all my entries (instead of by date. I am sure this option is somewhere but I don't know where.)

    Alphabetically is possible. It's a bit hidden until you know. So no worries you might have missed it. 🙂

    To automatically show all entries press command + Return
