"Mac login" item detect current Mac

Hi there,

I've been using the "Mac login" variant of login items for ease of entry of my Mac's admin password when I need to perform an administrative operation.

Just a bit of feedback; It would be great if 1Password on the Mac could determine which Mac I'm currently on (possibly based on hostname? I'm not sure), so that when keyboard focus is an administrator password dialogue, universal autofill would suggest only the credential for the current Mac.

It currently shows all "Mac login" items, so I need to scroll to select the right one.

Thanks for the great feature! It makes me so much less annoyed by admin password prompts!

Zach

I'm not sure if it would be possible, But I am all for it. 😀 I also need to do the scrolling thing to find the right one to use. I'll get something before the team. I think this is a cool idea for sure. I can't say I've seen it mentioned before. Thanks for sharing.

maybe by computer name? i mean a simple applescript returns the hostname for the current machine. There is swift method for the same function. 1password gets the frontmost app setting the machine context seems possible. I would also appreciate this feature!

get host name of (system info)
