The is no way to export any data from my mac desktop into an excel format

Those screenshots are from 1Password.com and 1Password in the browser, respectively. To export your 1Password data, you'll need the 1Password app:
Then, you'll be able to follow the steps shown in How to export your data from the 1Password app, using the File menu at the very top of the screen in the menu bar (near the Apple menu). I look forward to hearing how you get on or if you have any questions.

Sadly this does not work, there is nowhere to select a file or vault.

Hi there @rjb039
If you click the File menu in the menu bar at the very top of the screen, then Export > [account name], you can choose to export your data in 1PUX format (most easily readable by 1Password), or CSV, which can be opened in apps like Excel.
Full instructions on how to do this are here: How to export your data from the 1Password app.
ℹ️ CSV exports don't support everything 1Password can store, so check the bottom of that article to see the CSV format's limitations.
