How to upgrade from 1PW 7 to 1PW 8

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

I have read some of the info on this upgrade, but find it a bit confusing. Not sure if I have stand alone vaults or not for example. I would have hoped 1PW had a scropt or something that would handle this automatically.

    You can confirm whether you have a standalone vault by checking to see if you can see a vault named "Primary" in 1Password 7. We have a guide that will help you upgrade here: Upgrade to 1Password 8 for Mac

    1Password 8's installer will help you migrate any standalone vaults that you may have to your 1Password.com account.
