1Password 7 Mac Standalone license won't allow me to create new items

I've been using 1P8 for a while. I checked my 1P7 installed on my Mac. I have a perpetual standalone licence for 1P7 with iCloud vault.
I discovered that my 1P7 would not allow me to create new items or import passwords.

Why is that?

1. No license has been applied.
   or
2. You downloaded 1Password from the Mac App Store. That version does not support licenses. You would want to Download and install the version from our site. https://app-updates.agilebits.com/download/OPM7

I would caution you that items created using 1Password 7 in iCloud would NOT sync with 1Password 8. 1Password 8 is membership only and does not know of 3rd party sync types. 1Password 7 is also no longer supported and will only receive important security updates moving forward. I would highly encourage you to continue using 1Password 8.

I re-installed 1P7, it worked! Thank you for your advice and suggestions
