  • Hello @1PusernameWith20char! 👋

I'm sorry that you've having trouble using Touch ID to unlock 1Password on your Mac. Can you tell me a little more about the issue? How exactly are you opening 1Password? Are you clicking on the icon in the dock? Or unlocking 1Password from your browser?

If you restart your Mac do you see the Touch ID prompt appear automatically after you open 1Password? I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂

I lost my reply because I had to log back into the forum.

So short answer is setting for Keyboard Maestro

Thank you for the reply. Does the issue only occur when launching 1Password using Keyboard Maestro? What if you try these steps:

    1. Right-click on the 1Password icon in the menubar and click Open 1Password. Unlock 1Password.
    2. Click the red close dot in the upper left corner of the window to close the main window.
    3. Right-click on the 1Password icon in the menubar and click Lock.
    4. Right-click on the 1Password icon in the menubar and click Open 1Password.

Are you prompted automatically to unlock 1Password using Touch ID?
