Hi there @Wadley
You can find instructions on how to adjust how long 1Password stays unlocked here:
☞ How to set 1Password to lock automatically – Manage auto-lock in the 1Password apps
Give that a try by adjusting the settings in the Security tab of 1Password's Settings and let me know if you need any help or have any questions. :)

I'm seeing this too. 1Password for Mac 8.10.7 (81007001), Brave Version 1.51.114 Chromium: 113.0.5672.92 (Official Build) (x86_64), Wavebox Version 1.51.114 Chromium: 113.0.5672.92 (Official Build) (x86_64), and macOS Ventura 13.3.1 on a 2019 Intel MBP 16" . I have Apple Watch enabled, and "Every 14 days" in 1Password. I mostly run in "clamshell" mode and try to unlock with my watch, so never enabled TouchID until today.
I've had to enter my password at least 4 times today, and that's not a rarity.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble unlocking 1Password. Are you being prompted for your account password when you unlock 1Password from the browser or when you directly unlock the 1Password desktop app?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Most of my 1Password interactions are triggered by browser events. Today 1pw has been quiescent, but it varies from day to day. Yesterday, I did change it to "30 days" and enabled TouchID as I was using my laptop portably, but it's back in clamshell mode now and behaving. If I run into an issue in the next month-ish, I'll follow-up here.
Is there logging or anything that could be enabled? Where should I look? I see "Show debugging tools" in the prefs, but that just seems to add a couple options to the context menus. I see "Send Diagnostics" but I'd want to look before I send (maybe that's already the case...).

Thank you for the reply. 1Password keeps a log of events as it runs and that log can be generated by using these instructions: How to send a 1Password diagnostics report
When the issue does occur again then please check the following:
- Are you unable to unlock 1Password using both your Apple Watch and Touch ID? Or does just using your Apple Watch not work?
- Are you able to unlock the desktop app using your Apple Watch if you open it from your Applications folder?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey, so it's only been 5 days since my last update. 1PW had been behaving itself, mostly just asking for Apple Watch confirmations for both directly running the Desktop app or when triggered by Brave, but just now after a browser trigger, it asked for my master password.
1Password::Settings::Security when it prompted me for a password:
I went back into System Settings::Touch ID & Password, unchecked my Apple Watch, and checked it back on again and then went back into 1PW's Settings::Security::Unlock and saw it changed to this:
As a reminder, my MBP is closed in "clamshell mode" with an external keyboard, mouse, and monitors. Oh, would that Apple put a TouchID sensor on the outside....

I got password prompts again this morning. My computer unlocked with my watch with no problem, but I had to type the password to unlock 1PW to fill a login prompt in a Brave window.

Thank you for the update. So that we can investigate this issue further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to
support+forum@1password.com
.With your email please include:
- A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/comment/686872/#Comment_686872
- Your forum username:
alanhoyle
- Please do not post your diagnostic report to the forum. This is for your privacy and security.
The report will be in zip format. Please send the entire file.
You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!
