I can't get 1P to enter password using command forwardslash for a program.
Even though there's a linked file in the password details, it still won't work. I have another application and it has the linked file and it works every time. So, I can't figure out why it doesn't work. (The file that works is Banktivity and the file that doesn't work is Bear - if that info is useful)

Hello @artfin! 👋
I'm sorry that you're having trouble filling into an app on your Mac. By "Bear" do you mean the note taking app? I don't have a Bear Pro subscription myself, are you trying to fill in login credentials into the Bear app? Are you able to post a screenshot of what the login page in the Bear app looks like? Make sure that you don't include anything sensitive in the screenshot.
I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂

Yes, I'm referring to the note taking app. I'm not logging into Bear, but I'm trying to put the password I need to put in order to open an encrypted note.
I'm not sure what the link will do, but I did take a screenshot and tried to paste it here. If you can see it you'll notice the notes are not showing on the left because I've got to fill in the password on the right.
The second link is a screenshot of 1P and you can see that I'm linked to Bear.I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for the screenshots. I've been able to reproduce the issue on my Mac as well and I dug into the logs to see that 1Password appears to be not recognizing the Bear app's code signature and is aborting the Autofill process as a result. 1Password will only fill into apps where it can verify a correct code signature in order to protect you from filling your password into the wrong app.
Our developers are aware of an issue where 1Password's Universal Autofill feature is unable to recognize the code signature of certain apps downloaded from the Mac App Store and they're currently investigating. I've added your report to the internal work item open for the issue so that our developers are aware that the Bear app is affected by this known issue as well.
In the meantime, you'll need to copy and paste your password into Bear. If your Mac supports Touch ID then you can also unlock your notes using your fingerprint rather than entering the password.
Thank you for reporting the issue.

Thanks again for reporting the issue, hopefully this is something that our developers can fix with a future update to 1Password. 🙂
