I have a WordPress site. I have saved the login information to 1Password. I would like to add 2FA login information to this entry using the plugin WordFence which is installed on my site. A QR code appears on the site, but I cannot scan it because the QR scan option does not appear on the login entry page in 1Password. How do I do it?8.10.6 - The same problem appears on my iPhone version of 1Password.

  • Hello @MWhite! 👋

Thank you for the question! You can scan the QR code using 1Password in the browser: Use 1Password as an authenticator for sites with two-factor authentication

Let me know if you run into any issues. 🙂

Sorry. This is not helpful. Options described in the link do not appear. I am able to add the 2FA in another authenticator.

On which specific step do the instructions not match what you see on your screen? Are you able to post a screenshot of what you do see? Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshot.

I was finally able to do it. I was unable to scan the QR image on my computer, but I was able to enter the QR text code and set up the site. It would have been easier if the menu were labeled 2FA or two-factor authorization rather than one-time code. Thanks for your help.

I'm happy that you were able to get everything working. I've passed along your feedback regarding the wording of "One-Time password" to the team, I'm sorry for the confusion.
