Data file compatibility between 1Password 7 and 8

Are 1Password 8 and 1Password 7 for Mac able to share the same 1Password.com account data? In other words, if I update to 1Password 8 on one of my Macs, can I still use (at least for the time being) 1Password 7 on my other Mac?

    Hello @billj! 👋

    With the launch of 1Password 8 for Mac, 1Password 7 for Mac is no longer supported and will only receive important security updates. We strongly encourage you to update to 1Password 8 on all of your devices as soon as you have the chance.

    That being said, you can use 1Password 7 on one device and 1Password 8 on another with the same 1Password account. It won't cause any issues aside from 1Password 7 not having access to any new features that are only available in 1Password 8.
