Can the Chrome extension be used with 1Password 6?

I downloaded the Chrome extension for my Mac, but it looks like I have to have a Secret Key to use it. Is it not possible to use with older 1Password 6.8.9?

Thank you for the question. Our modern extension, 1Password in the browser, is designed to work with a 1Password membership and the latest version of the 1Password desktop app: 1Password 8.

If you're using an older licensed version of 1Password (it sounds like you are if you don't have a Secret Key), then please send in an email to support+tradein@1password.com so that our support team can help you migrate over to an account and the latest version of 1Password. 🙂
