How do I sync 1Password on iPhone to my 1Password account?

I recently upgraded from 1P v7 to 1P v8, and created an account on my Mac. All good there. I downloaded v8 for my iPhone 14 running iOS 16.5, installed it, entered the sign-in address, my email address and secret key. I see 2 vaults under Personal: one with my name, and one labeled "1Password Account (my name)", which contains my secret key. I don't see how to sync with the vault in the new account created on my Mac.
