Seems like a duplicate of https://1password.community/discussion/140803/offline-items-how-do-i-remove-remediate-them/
Seems to be an issue with all desktop versions (Win+Linux+Mac).
Apparently this bug got out of the beta and arrived into production.

I keep getting the message "Some changes could not be synced with your other devices". It does appear to be syncing on according to the logs, but the interface says 1password is offline in both my browser and app. The "offline" status stops me from creating new entries because it says I'm offline .... which I have to do on my laptop instead.

I've only noticed this since the latest update. How can I fix this or is this a bug with hte latest version of the app and browser plugin?

    1Password Version: 8.10.8
    Extension Version: 2.12.0
    OS Version: Windows 11
    Browser: Chrome

I've seen the issue on Windows 10 and iOS (mobile app), as well as reports on Macs. Something is wrong across the board :-/

Either it is a bug, or a poorly designed "new feature"

I've also just noticed this. In the "Offline items" list it's showing things which haven't been modified for a year (as well as some items which are recently modified), so I don't know why I'm suddenly seeing this message now.

I'm getting this too on my iPhone and iPad. macOS seems unaffected. It's a single item that hasn't been changed in about 8 months.

I'm getting this too on my iPhone and iPad. macOS seems unaffected. It's a single item that hasn't been changed in about 8 months.

    • I updated the item and the update appears to be syncing.
    • I copied the information to a new item, verified the new version had replicated, then tried 'Delete Permanently" on the 'Items with Offline Changes'. The item is still there.
    • I tried 'Edit' on the offline item, and it does appear to save changes. However what I really want is to delete or archive it, but I can't.
    • Next I tried 'Restore Item'. It disappeared from the list and I had a perpetually revolving prompt, but when I went back to 'All Items' then click the 'Items with Offline Changes it was back again.
    • I tried the Web version of 1Password, however the Offline Item is not there and can't be searched.

So - I started again on a different iOS device. Strangely, the one 'Items with Offline Changes' is a different item from the one I was seeing on my iPhone and iPad.

    • It's dated October 2022, yet I updated it only a few days ago.
    • I updated the 'real' version of this item and it's updating fine across all my devices. Yet while this one iOS device can see those updates, it keeps popping up the warning of 'Items with Offline Changes.'

I'm happy the app is basically working OK, but these 'Offline' alerts are a nuisance, especially as they don't seem to be relevant.

    Same, also following.

I imported from lastpass back in March and have been going through changing the credentials on each account. Everything has been synchronizing fine but I got this message today and it's showing 490 items under the "Offline Items" category.

I added a new test account and although that also shows under the "Offline Items" category in the Windows app, i has also synchronized and shows on my mobile phone.

EDIT: The test item I added no longer shows under "Offline Items", it must have synchronized whilst I was writing the post...

Same here. A login that hasn’t been updated or changed in nearly 12 months. Displaying twice/replicated twice in items with offline changes not syncing. No problem on macOS. Just on iPhone11pro 1password 8.10.8. iOS 16.3.1

Tried deleting the item but problem persists. Hoping a fix is soon….

I'm getting the same issue. I synchronise across multiple devices and Windows computers. Only having the issue on one computer:
    1Password Client: 1Password for Windows 8.10.8 (81008047)
OS Version: Windows 10 Pro 10.0 Build 19045

When I click on the "View Offline Items" there is no response, and the message bar saying "View Offline Items" disappears after a second or so.

This is the same for me as well. Two items that I had forgotten about / deleted long ago. This issue just started recently and is only present on one of the many devices I use.

+1 .. a sign-out/sign-in cycle in the iPhone app resolved the issue for me as well.

To close the loop on my end, signing out of my desktop app and then signing back in seemed to shake it loose and get rid of this error or force the right kind of sync to happen so.

All my out of sync items were things I tried to move to the archive as well in retrospect.
