Just got an update and now I find the sync is no longer working (little red cloud with a dash through) shown. Can no longer create new logins. This worked right before the update was installed. In the log file I see these messages:

What can I do to get it working again? Any way to downgrade to previous version?

  • Hello @msand! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing an offline indicator when using 1Password for Mac. The latest version of 1Password added a feature to help reveal if you have offline items:

If your device is offline, you’ll now see an Offline Items list in the sidebar if you’ve made changes that aren’t yet saved in your 1Password account.

Those offline items would have been there before, 1Password now has the ability to warn you about them so that we can help you resolve the situation. I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    With your email please include:

    Please send the entire file.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

Hi Dave - I used the logout/login solution provided in other threads and all is now working across the devices and browsers. Thanks!

I'm happy to hear that you were able to resolve the issue. For anyone else stumbling onto the same issue, please make sure that you can see all of your items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app) before signing your account out of the app in order to avoid data loss.

I recommend that folks reach out to our support team by sending an email to support+forum@1Password.com so that we can help everyone resolve the issue safely.

Since the issue has been resolved here I'm closing this thread.

    -Dave
