Print and/or Export a secure note
Is there a way to do this. All I can find is a way to export my entire vault.
Sometimes I need to print an individual Secure Note and the only work around I have found is to use Snipit that is far from ideal.
1Password Version: 8.10.9
Extension Version: 2.12
OS Version: Win 10

Hello @Andrew42! 👋
1Password 8 doesn't include the ability to print an item. Can you tell me a little more about why you're trying to print a Secure Note? In general, the information that is stored in 1Password is information that you don't want to leave around in plain text, not protected by 1Password's security.
If you're trying to share a Secure Note with another person then, rather than printing the note, you can use a secure share link: Securely share 1Password items with anyone
I look forward to hearing from you.

I use secure notes, amongst other reasons, to list the details of all that I buy that has a warranty period. For example I recently provided a manufacturer with the details of an item which requires repairing. This required me to list a range of details like model number, date of purchase etc. etc. (8 items in all.) This could have been provided by printing out the secure note and emailing it.

Thank you for those details. Have you taken a look at the secure link feature that I shared in my previous comment? It would allow you to share a Secure Note with another person without having to export it into a separate file. Your Secure Note would look like this on their end:
The recipient of a secure share link does not need to be using 1Password themselves.
That being said, while I can't promise anything, I've passed along your request that we include the ability to print in future versions of 1Password. If you do need to print a Secure Note today then you can do so by using 1Password.com:
- Log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).
- Select the vault that the item is in.
- Click on the Secure Note that you'd like to print.
- In your browser, click File > Print. Follow the prompts.
I hope that helps.

Thank you, very helpful. I must learn how to operating sharing. Also I did not know one can print from 1P.com. Why there and not from the desktop App? Seems, on the face of it somewhat incongruous.

Hi @Andrew42,
Also I did not know one can print from 1P.com. Why there and not from the desktop App?
This is not a function of 1Password.com itself, but rather the browser's ability to print the item displayed on screen in the browser.
If you have any more questions about Securely share 1Password items that's not covered in our guide, just let us know. We'll be glad to help.
