QR code scanner not working with Mac app in full screen

The QR code scanner is not working with multiple desktops or with the app in full screen mode on my Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.4.1 (c) and the latest version of 1Password. The app has to be in the same desktop space as the window being scanned.

As I've got very limited screen space, I generally keep the app open either in its own desktop space or in full screen mode, and then it cannot scan QR codes for OTPs.

This used to be an issue as well with screen sharing on video call software, but since recently apps like Microsoft Teams are able to share other windows that are not in the same space, so I believe it should be possible to implement this.

Is this something that is being worked on or added at any point? Or is there a way for me to enable it in the current version?

    Are you trying to use 1Password for Mac or are you trying to scan from the browser? Based on your description I believe you are referring to 1Password for Mac. I apologize for the trouble. If you scan from 1Password in the browser does this work as intended?
