Progress with Passkey Sign in Beta

I have the Beta installed and a test account created on my main device. I now have 2 accounts real and test.

I then went to setup a MacBook Air. I switched to the latest Mac Beta and Added an account. It recognised my second account and asked me to add using a passkey. This seemed to work and I had a popup on my primary device to 'allow access'. Clicking this to get a code proved problematic. I had to ensure that the test account was unlocked/logged in on the primary IOS device. Once that was the case I was then able to access the popup and get the code for the second device.

So far so good

    Thanks for the progress report!

This sounds like the expected outcome. An authorized device is required in order to authorize a new device. In this case, you needed your iPhone to authorize your MacBook. That authorization can only be done if the account you're trying to add to the new device is available and unlocked on the already authorized device.

Does that explanation make sense? Is there something about the process we could've made more clear, in order to better set this expectation? Thank you!

    Ben
