When will 1Password 8 be available on the MacOS App Store?

It has been over a year since 1Password 8 was released for MacOS. Please complete whatever remaining due diligence is required to submit 1Password 8 for distribution through the Apple MacOS app store so that the full range of Apple users can begin using 1Password 8.

    It is ironic that the 1Password 8 app was released on the Microsoft App Store (https://blog.1password.com/microsoft-store/) before it is released on the Apple MacOS app store when the origin story and growth of popularity of the 1Password app begin on the Mac platforms and was grown through the Apple community.

    Thank you for your response! I'm glad progress is being made on the Microsoft and Website versions. Do you plan to ever return 1Password8 to the MacOS App Store?
    I added my email to the "Updates about Mac App Store availability" in May, 2022. I've never received an update from that submission. Thanks again!

    I don't have an answer to that but I do know that we’re currently focused on the website/direct download version of 1Password. We’ll keep you in the loop using the newsletter if there is any news to share in the future. 🙂

    The last 1Password newsletter that I've seen was from March, 2022. Hopefully an updated newsletter will be coming soon that includes the good news of 1Password 8 being added to the Apple macOS app store.

    So, the plan appears to be force everyone to upgrade through planned obsolesce... even though 1Password 8 still not available on the MacOS App Store. Come on. You are better than that.
