1Password Browser Icon
Hi,
Hoping someone has some insight into this as I for the life of me cannot figure this one out.
Some context around the issue.
In 1Password 8 you have the option to enable to Safari Extension and while this works great what I dislike is the 1Password Icon in the fields for the websites and find it incredibly annoying/distracting. How can this be turned off as I would rather choose the password required from the section above the keyboard on the iPhone and by using the 1Password Browser Extension Button.
1Password Version: 8.10.13
Extension Version: 2.14.1
OS Version: macOS 13.5.1
Browser: Safari

Hey @wrwatk,
I'm sorry for the delay.
You can disable this using the steps below:
- Right click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choosing 'Settings'
- Disable 'Offer to save and fill passwords'
You can then choose to fill your credentials by clicking on the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choosing 'Autofill' in the right hand corner of the item.
I hope this helps!

@steph.giles many thanks for coming back to me, I’ve done that step but what I’d like to know is how is this removed from iOS version of the App?
