This issue occurs only on 1Pwd macOS 8.10.16. 1Pwd iOS-iPadOS and 1Pwd Windows work perfectly.

When you make a table in a Markdown secure note code section with these ASCII Extended characters:

─┼├┤└┘┌┐┴┬│
═╬╠╣╚╝╔╗╩╦║

You can obtain a perfect table on this webpage:

You can obtain a perfect table on a classic text editor like Sublime Text:

You can obtain a perfect table on 1Pwd Windows:

You can obtain a perfect table on 1Pwd iPadOS:

But the characters & have the wrong size on 1Pwd macOS, so the rows are shifting column after column:

Thank you for your help.

  • Hello @VincentBounce! 👋

I'm sorry for the late reply and for the trouble that you're running into with box-drawing characters in 1Password for Mac. I'm not very familiar with such characters personally but I'd love to be able to file an issue for our team to look into this further.

Would you be able to create a new Secure Note with such a table containing fake data and then share that Secure Note here: Securely share 1Password items with anyone

Make sure that nothing sensitive is included in the new Secure Note aside from fake information and don't use a previous Secure Note. If you'd prefer not to paste the link here on the public forum then please send an email with the link to support+forum@1Password.com and include a link to this thread. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it's gotten to the right place. 🙂

    -Dave
