Hello @Keith45! 👋
I'm sorry that you're running into trouble with 1Password. So that I can better understand the situation can you please tell me the following:
- Are you running into the issue on an iPhone or iPad? Or on some other device?
- Are you trying to fill your username and password into a website open in Safari? Or another browser? Or another app?
1 password 7
Since 1Password 7 has been replaced with our latest version, 1Password 8, I recommend that you upgrade: Upgrade to 1Password 8
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Dave,
Using my iPad ver: 16.4.1 - 1Password ver: 8.10.16
My problem: I open 1Password - Go to All Items - Click on a website, it brings me to the selected website, the problem it does not fill in email nor password automatically. I have to enter manually. I have tried Firefox & Safari.
I have no problem logging into websites on my iMac Ventura.
Thank you for any help

Thank you for the additional details. I would like you to make sure that you've turned iOS AutoFill on to work with 1Password:
- On the Home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Passwords > Password Options.
- Turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys.
- Select 1Password.
Then, when you open a website, try to fill your login again using this guide: Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad
Let me know if that works. 🙂

I'm sorry that things still aren't working. After you open the website in Safari what do you see above your keyboard after you tap on either the username or password field on the website? Do you see a "Passwords" prompt? The prompt may also include a key icon.
If you tap on the "Passwords" prompt then are you able to fill your login from there?

Good morning Dave
Some sites show the key icon and work correctly, others (Log in with email & password) if I press "email log in" I get a Paste and a symbol sign.
Dave on my iMac computer in "All Categories" i get a box beside the website that says open and fill, should my iPad work the same?

The Mac and the iPad are different platforms and so the technical restrictions and opportunities on each platform are also different. There is no "Open and Fill" function on the iPad, instead the website will open and you'll need to use the AutoFill prompt above your keyboard to fill your username and password.
Alternatively, with Safari on your iPad, you can fill your login using our extension: Get to know 1Password for Safari on your iPhone or iPad
Let me know if you have any questions.
